This past weekend at the Museum of Science & Industry, T&K Masonry and ARCON were the recipients of three Excellence in Masonry Awards for a recent project. The Illinois/Indiana Masonry Advisory Council recognized the new Pipefitter’s Association, Local 597 Training and Wellness Facility with Best of Block, Best of Interior, and People’s Choice Honors!
Numerous projects were submitted, all featuring distinctive masonry design. The projects were judged by a panel of accomplished architects respected in their field. The Pipefitter’s Association, Local 597 Training and Wellness Facility is a masonry load bearing building utilizing brick, block and stone construction.
ARCON is grateful for its relationship with the Pipefitter’s Association and the opportunity to provide creative masonry solutions into the design of this notable project. Congratulations ARCON!
