Throwback Thursday – West Chicago ESD 33 Innovation Center & STEM Labs

Today’s #throwbackthursday highlight’s West Chicago ESD 33’s District-Wide Innovation Center & STEM Labs that were completed last fall.

ARCON assisted the district in the design and construction of the Innovation Centers and STEM Labs at Gary Elementary, Indian Knoll Elementary, Pioneer Elementary, and Currier and Wegner Elementary School.

Each school’s floor was analyzed for maximum flexibility, and spaces adjacent to the existing libraries were reworked in order to provide an open environment that had enough SF to support curriculum needs for the innovation centers and STEM labs.
