In an effort to re-locate their current retail strip mall location, officials at the Mount Prospect State Bank solicited proposals to Design/Build Firms for the design and construction of their new downtown Mount Prospect location.
The 6,200 square foot branch was designed to match the existing context of downtown Mount Prospect, and involved the site demolition of an existing building prior to new construction. This project was a fast-track design, built to meet the Owner’s deadlines, and in order to meet the Owner’s needs, multiple design solutions were offered. Project features include three lobby tellers, two drive-up windows/ATMs, two executive offices, four private banker offices, conference room, public restrooms, employee lounge, a pre-cast concrete vault with private safe deposit booths, and a personal banker area situated in the central core of the branch, in a large open area with clerestory windows and vaulted ceilings.
