With the vacation of existing building tenants, Northfield THSD 225 was ableto renovate their administration building to consolidate departments and provide a first-floor reception area to better meet their needs.
A secure entry vestibule leads into a welcoming Reception Area. The Human Resource Department is also located on the first floor making both easily accessible. The renovation provides the district with flexible meeting rooms, which are used for school board meetings and professional development, among other things. The east half of the third floor became work space for the district’s technology department.
New energy-efficient windows, siding replacement, and new signage and canopy lettering, replaced the exterior facade, giving the building a “face lift”.
